Scott Creighton points out that Sarah Palin is receiving instructions from the McCain campaign from the earpiece in the picture above during the debate. Is this Sarah Palin’s idea of small town moral values? Is this John McCain’s idea of a VP candidate that is ready to take over on day one if anything were to happen to him? Obviously she’s not ready and McCain makes bad choices. In November I’ll be voting for Obama.

If she was wearing an ear piece then I’m EVEN more convinced that she’s not cut out for the job.

Run with it, it looks like a possibility. Send the pic to Letterman he’ll probably put it up on the show. Be sure to include a name and location so he’ll read that too, something like “Pudge Grissom, Mooseshit AK.”

Just on a technical point. It is very possible that they could use a clear tube insert like that. I use headphones very similar to that for live performance. Sound can be directed through a tube. Try putting your ear against any piece of tubing (even an old paper towel tube) and you’ll find that the sound is directed with a high amount of clarity.
A clear tube could be run up and over the ear extending from a small monitor and she would be able to hear from that very well and the main unit could be concealed underneath clothing or hair quite easily.
Maybe more telling is how she speaks and reacts during the debate. She seems distracted as one might be when talking to more than one person at a time. She actually says “OK” (maybe to herself, but possibly acknowledging instruction) while Biden is talking about Afghanistan as if she is receiving coaching… you can see her mouth it while looking down at her notes and Biden is talking.
Incidentally, I’m watching a repeat of the debate and I had the thought she might be listening to someone and so I googled the topic and found this forum. I’m also not a raging liberal by any means, but merely someone who had the same thought.

It’s part of Sarah’s lack of of accountibility and character to cheat. That is currently why we see her at the highest level of this nations government lookin for instant success.
It’s NOT cause of her content and knowledge.
Cheating brings instant success to many…….
